By using HabitGoals, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Do NOT Collect

HabitGoals is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect:

• Personal Information: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifiers.
• Usage Data: We do not track how you use the app, which features you access, or how often you open the app.
• Location Data: We do not access or collect your location information.
• Device Information: We do not collect information about your device, operating system, or unique device identifiers.
• Analytics: We do not use any third-party analytics services.
• Advertising: We do not display ads or use advertising trackers.

Data Stored on Your Device

HabitGoals stores the following data locally on your device:

• Habits: The habits you create, including names, emoji icons, goal streaks, creation dates, and completion dates.
• Journal Entries: Your journal entries, including content, mood selections, and timestamps.
• Settings: Your app preferences, including reminder settings, accent color choices, and haptic feedback preferences.
• Achievements: Progress toward achievement badges (calculated from your habit data).

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any servers, cloud services, or third parties.

Data Security

Your data is protected by:

• Device Security: Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
• Local Storage: Data is stored using iOS's secure local storage mechanisms (UserDefaults).
• No Transmission: Since data never leaves your device, there is no risk of interception during transmission.

iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your HabitGoals data may be included in your device's iCloud backup. This backup is:

• Controlled by your Apple ID and iCloud settings
• Encrypted by Apple
• Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy

We do not have access to your iCloud backups. To manage iCloud Backup, go to your device's Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → iCloud Backup.

Notifications

HabitGoals offers optional daily reminder notifications. If you enable notifications:

• Notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely by iOS on your device.
• We do not receive any information about whether notifications are delivered or opened.
• You can disable notifications at any time in the app's Settings or in your device's Settings → Notifications → HabitGoals.

Children's Privacy

HabitGoals does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal information, there is no risk of collecting children's data.

The app is suitable for users of all ages and is rated 4+ on the App Store.

Third-Party Services

HabitGoals does not integrate with or share data with any third-party services, including:

• Analytics platforms
• Advertising networks
• Social media platforms
• Cloud storage providers
• Data brokers

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it:

• Delete Individual Habits: Open the habit's edit view and tap "Delete Habit."
• Clear All Habits: Go to Settings → Clear All Habits.
• Clear Journal: Go to Settings → Clear Journal Entries.
• Clear Everything: Go to Settings → Clear All Data.
• Uninstall App: Deleting the app will permanently remove all HabitGoals data from your device.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
• For significant changes, we may notify you through an app update or in-app notice.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

Your Rights

Because we don't collect your data, traditional data rights (access, correction, deletion requests) don't apply in the usual sense. However, you always have:

• Full Control: Complete control over your data on your device.
• Right to Delete: Ability to delete any or all data at any time.
• Right to Opt-Out: Ability to disable notifications at any time.
• Right to Uninstall: Freedom to remove the app and all its data.
